Small vortexes of air created by the centrifugal force and the rotation are dragged by the vanes from the aspiration toward the drain. There are no parts in contact, thus the side channel blowers do not require routine maintenance but, since the intake air is also used as cooling fluid, they can operate continuously only within certain ranges of pressure. To prevent damage to the engine it is indeed necessary to install vacuum and pressure limiting valves. All versions can be used as compressors. If used as a compressor, the output flow is clean and free of pulsations. Original DVP Pump filters for your vacuum pump. FCM The FCM filter with metal bowl is mounted on the pump or compressor intake and is suitable for protecting them from dust or solids. A rapid opening system makes it easy to replace the polyester filter cartridge. DATA SHEET FCT The FCT filter with transparent bowl is mounted on the pump or compressor intake and is suitable for protecting them from dust or solids. The clear outer housing allows to quickly check the status of the filter cartridge. For easier cleaning of the filter cartridge, it is preferable to install the filter horizontally. DATA SHEET FSC The FSC condensate separator filter prevents condensable fumes or liquids from the system from being taken in.
